Even though daddy was not around, the entire family spent the night with us, how fantastic! We had dinner at this German restaurant near mommy's workplace, something new and interesting to the grannies.
Mommy got Kyra these kids chopsticks a few days ago. Tonite at dinner, Kyra was eager to show off the skills that she had acquired and fed mommy with the little pieces of foodstuffs she picked up with the new tools. Mommy had a great time ;-p
Today was Mommy's birthday, supposed to be big right? Yet, this year, Daddy wasn't here for being on a long business trip. Everything's not great anymore...
She got herself a little gift to lighten up the day, being a bit of time off for enjoying a full delicious breakfast at this cafe she loved the most recently. She just loved the place so much!
Daddy once again came up with this creative and interesting game for us to play with, being double baby bath! It was way more fun than me in the bath alone. Before we got done, I was already asking for the next round of 2-1-1 bath :-]
After a looooong wait (we've been expecting a little one from auntie Rita and uncle Andy for so long), baby Ayden finally arrived and today, we went to see him. He's such a fresh handsome cutie, we love him dearly. The only thing was he slept the whole time we were there... Mommy said she needs to hug and carry you next time.
After the "Sweet Little Treat" last month, tonite mommy brought back these adorable animal cupcakes where she got from a neat cafe near her workplace. She chose a rabbit, a wolf and a donkey. The piece of bunny cookie represented daddy on the other hand. Who could possibly resist?
As PorPor has arranged for a leisure trip on the weekend of Mother's Day, we celebrated with her today over lunch instead. The choice of food had to be vegetarian, without questions asked. This Life Cafe at Soho was just perfect, from the easily accessible location, to the semi-open dining area, to the healthy organic ingredients and the great taste of course. Couldn't be better. Mommy's favorite was the sweet potato fries, super deeee-li-cious!
Some weeks ago Daddy already introduced the oven to us and showed us how cookies were baked. This morning we made some more, oatmeal this time, mainly for PorPor. Though the final products didn't look very attractive, they tasted yummy and yet not very sweet :-p
