Winning the Photo Contest!

Results for the Kodak Photo Competition were announced today. We were among the winners for both the Grand Prize and Merits Prize; mommy was totally overwhelmed! She was reading the announcement by herself after midnight, without any expectation, and was only able to spot daddy's name after a good while, before she spotted her own name after even a longer while. Silly mommy!

Below are the 2 winning entries. The Grand Prize entitles us a free night of HOTEL STAY at the HK Disneyland together with 4 TICKETS to the Park, whereas the Merits Prize entitles us a customized photo album at Kodak shops. Really thankful for all these goodies :-D As the Disneyland prize is valid through October, we probably would redeem it in early October in order to beat the heat.

Protecting Kyra at Doorways

It's all because I've got my finger stuck in the doorway hurting it real bad when I was little, I know how tragic it is. Whenever I see my little sis approaching the doorway, I automatically would go and guard against her from accidents:

Kyra's 1st B-Day!

Kyra is finally ONE! We had simple yet happy family celebration spending this special day with our beloved birthday girl in the Disneyland area. The rose cake was specially chosen by mommy and daddy, as they wanted her first rose be from her parents! Btw, Kyra has already visited the Park inside mommy's tummy a year ago :-)

Milk Transition

As Kyra is turning the marvellous ONE, daddy & mommy thought she should be having stronger physique by now. So, they're helping her gradually change to a regular milk. Then, they thought, why not gorgor's milk?! That's how we started the same diet. Apart from convenience sake, daddy got to save almost half on Kyra's usual formula expense ^ ^

2 Years Review

Last Year, mommy made me a real nice video reviewing my development during the first year. This year, they put together a video, in a much simpler version, telling my growing up story thus far:

Crawl Race at Home

After taking part in a crawl race in a baby expo more than a year ago, I'm glad that recently, such crawl races are held much more often, at our own place:

Interesting Hair-dos

Kyra's hair has grown considerably longer over the past few months. Our caretaker can now play with her hair with a lot more funny variations:

Sometimes I would request to join the fun:

Furniture Shopping

As we're about to move, we've been busy checking out furnitures and household products lately. Me and Kyra could not help much, except choosing our own pieces of wardrobes and stuff. In fact, this huge shop has always been one of mommy's favorite shopping spots. Besides all the household items of bargain prices, they have a really nice cafeteria that is totally kids friendly.

Kyra had fun playing in a bunk bed, but I enjoyed pushing the miniature shopping cart around instead. While we were waiting for our order to be taken, which lasted for over ONE hour due to computer failure, I couldn't help myself but dozed off on one of their beds, sorry :-p

Housewarming in Yuen Long

Minna yeeyee had a new cozy stylish apartment, so we all went to "warm the house". The kids playroom in the clubhouse was definitely the best place for fun, in my opinion ;-p

She also arranged for all 30 or so of us for fine dining in a quality Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Me & Kyra cooperated well by sleeping through the entire dinner, almost, after being fed a big bowl of plain rice each!

Meeting Kristen Finally

The long expected 5 days Easter holidays were kicked off with a kids get-together. We got to meet Kristen finally. She doesn't look too much like her big bro Louise, but is another chubby cutie production from the Tongs for sure.

On the way back, we caught some bunnies inside the MTR station. Those were Peter Rabbits, famous to kids and those young at heart. We have a set of bed sheets with these prints, as mommy is one of their fans~

Backpacks

Mommy got us these matching backpacks recently. They're not only adorable, but practical also, as there's a buckle on the front over the chest preventing slippage of straps. I love mine so much that I kept saying "bui-nong" "bui-nong" the whole day!
