Rolling Over - Take 1

Having nothing much to do in the hospital, Kyra had her own fun by doing physical exercise. Mommy got to witness her very first trial of rolling over! In fact, Mommy still remembers the day I flipped over the first time. It's amazing how fast kids grow from bed-bound to crawling to stumbling to running~

Hospital Visit

After suffering from diarrhoea for one week, Kyra had blood in her poopoo. In order to find out what went wrong, Mommy & Daddy had her admitted into hospital as advised by Doc. It was the hospital where she was born, and she was addressed as "Miss Chung (鍾小姐)" on the door label. Mommy had a good laugh on that ^ ^

4 Months Old Kyra

My little sis has reached 4 months old today, wow! She has been drinking a lot more MaMa's milk as compared to my infanthood. Maybe that's why she's bigger than me at the same age. Nurses at gov't MCHC said she's at 97-percentile in terms of both body length & weight, surprising both Mom & Dad ^ ^

Kyra's First Laughs

Apart from outlooks, me & Kyra are also rather unlike as far as personality goes. I've been the happy-silly-giggly kinda kid ever since 3 months old or so, but Kyra has been holding up her emotions since birth. On one hand, she's a brave kid when facing thunder or shots. On the other hand, she didn't show a bit of her happiness. This has been worrying Mommy a whole lot honestly. Kyra's first laughs today was Mommy's best reward in recent months:

My Bumbo

Mommy took out the Bumbo from storage, intended for Kyra's use, but I asked for a later date to pass it over. Really grateful that after a whole year's time, I could fit back in this seater again! I guess it's because I have nice toned buns :-D

Somersault

After a few gymnastics classes, I've been so into somersaults. Seeing things upside down is fun!

Breaking Open

At 17 months, I managed to break open Mom & Dad's door. Achievement to me, but misery to them, HaHaha ^ ^

Somehow, I fell ill and temperature went up again... After numerous fevers during my first 1.5 years of life, I'm totally able to control the digital thermometer in taking my own temperature. This device must've been used a zillion times since I was born, no doubt the best investment made so far~

Hide and Seek

When Mom & Dad returned home, they heard I was sleeping but couldn't seem to find me in the beds. Next time please check out the couch as well! My disguise ability truly impressed them this time~

In fact, I've tricked them before. Last time, my caretaker said I was sleeping; yet, they went everywhere looking for me and still had no clue. After Daddy found me eventually, he broke out laughing!

Understanding Daddy

Today, I got to visit places where Daddy spent most of his time at, being the office and the basketball court:




After a whole year, Daddy's basketball skills are still shitty :-p

Piggy Legs

Kyra took in every bit of Mommy's milk and supplementary formula. She's been growing chubbier lately. Look at her big thighs:

Re-visiting Stanley

Mom & Dad had no luck in the apartment selection exercise today :-\ They thus took the afternoon off to have fun in Stanley as emotional compensation. It has been a good while since they last had their private time for relax and beer.



This time, they were also unable to resist the temptation of adorable outfits; worth mentioning that 2 of those were matching sibling outfits! I heard that Daddy has been enjoying shopping sprees more than Mommy now.

Lashes

Daddy heard from friends that by having lashes trimmed at infant stage, they'll grow longer and curlier. My caretaker who has truly beautiful eyes and lashes concurred. She said her lashes were trimmed at 2 months, 8 months and 11 months old respectively. After serious consideration, Mommy took out scissors in the end and 'chop'... Mom, if it doesn't work out and Kyra stays like this 'naked', I'll make sure I let her know when she grows up :-p

Baby Fair 2009

The Baby Fair is held only once a year; we wouldn't miss it for sure. We got some of our daily supplies as well as new toys. Btw, Daddy ran into his primary school buddy there. Both have become daddies now :-)

Daddy's good friend auntie Stephanie gave birth recently. We took some time to visit her adorable 'lil girl this afternoon.

100th Day Dinner

Same day last year, China impressed the world with a well organised Olympics. Tonite, we celebrated Kyra's 100th day since birth with family and close relatives.

Gym Class Trial

I tried out another gym class today. It's close to home with friendly instructors and fun music. Though I was actually rather sleepy for having skipped my usual nap, the exciting games all amused me. I guess I got the genes from Mommy, as Daddy has phobia on even slightly exciting games :-p Yet, I'm still on waiting list. Hopefully, they'll give me a place next month.

Baby Teeth

Is that for real? Mommy couldn't believe it, Kyra's got her baby TEETH! Just like me, her bottom front teeth poked out at ~3.5 months. Finally proves that we were from the same "factory" (though we don't look a bit alike) ^ ^

Mommy calls me "mad dog" when I bite her (one time at her belly when Kyra was still inside). Seems that my teeth only got more and more powerful. Today, I bit open Kyra's pacifier... After all, I've got the whole set of teeth in place long ago, Mom~
