Visit from Little Abbie

Mommy's good friend auntie Anita brought her baby to visit me & Kyra. Baby Abbie was 3 days younger than Kyra, so a bit smaller in size. Mommy says she's a pretty cutie :-)

Visit from Princess JieJie

Princess JieJie came over for visit today. Auntie Phoebe was in fact YeeMa's classmate back in secondary school, and she has known mommy when mommy was really young.




Auntie Phoebe opined that Kyra didn't look a bit like mommy, daddy or me. Instead, she looked a lot like YeeMa!! Mommy always thinks Kyra looks like a "小師奶" btw~

Kyra's Nanny

We said goodbye to auntie Ching today :-[ She has been taking very good care of my little sister during Kyra's first month. Under her tender care, Kyra grew fast and gained 4 lbs! Thanks auntie Ching and take good care of yourself. Keep reading our blog and remember us 2 little monsters please :-p



In fact, she has cared for me before during mommy's late stage of pregnancy. We thus have established special bonding.



Today, we also got Kyra's palm and foot prints on clay, interesting~

Blowing Kisses

Today at clinic, I learnt from a fellow how to blow kisses. It should be a practical trick making ladies happy!

Mommy's Birthday

For celebrating Mommy's b-day, I gave her surprise by a sudden fever, without any symptoms... She was very worried, fortunately Doc said nothing's wrong with my urine, looked like the start of common cold instead.

Kyra's 1-month B-day

My dear little sister Kyra reached 1 month old today. We treated her with an outing: to clinic for Hep-B shot ^ ^ Nurses said she's weighing 11.5 lbs already, which is at 95-percentile. At night, mommy's family came over for a warm family dinner. Mom & Dad still remember taking the picture when I was one month old, can't believe time flies so fast!

Mah-Mah got Kyra a gold bangle. The little ring next to it was given to me last year for the same occassion. They were initially received by my grannies when Daddy and his siblings were born, how memorable!

Visiting the Noah's Ark

This weekend, we visited the Noah's Ark in Ma Wan during its trial run. We stayed a nite in their beautiful hotel room with nice view of the Tsing Ma bridge. We enjoyed visiting their exhibition halls and strolling around the parks. Too bad the weather was not nice; maybe they wanted us to have a true experience of the catastrophic flood when the Ark sailed thousands of years ago...

Whenever I have music, I go dancing dancing, with awkward moves (mommy said~)

Stair Climbing

Today when we were playing in the playground, mommy & daddy were amazed that I could climb the stairs without anyone showing me how. Of course, when I can work my "muscles", I can do a lot of things :-)

Outing with YeYe

Daddy brought me along for an afternoon outing with grannies, in celebration for YeYe's birhtday. We had lunch buffet and then strolled around WanChai. After that, we took ferry (my first time!) crossing the harbour. The ferry ride was really fun~

Weighing Myself

After watching mom & dad a few times, I've learnt to pull out the scale and step on it to check my weight. Btw, I've been weighing a steady 24 lbs for some months now, wonder why...

Mother's Day 2009

This is mommy's second Mother's Day already, so obviously daddy would not bother to get her flowers or anything, unlike last year... But we did spend some quality time with grannies.

Progress

My little sis has grown bigger and longer; picture below was taken when she's 10 days old. She's now drinking an average of 3.5oz milk every two hours. Some of the newborn outfits have now become too short for her... Keep it up, Kyra!



After initial 2 days of acting crazy (Yes, I admit~), I have started to befriend with Kyra, as she doesn't pose much threat to me so far :-p

Visit from YeeMa & Family

Last weekend, YeeMa & her family took a brief visit to Hong Kong for saying Hi to our new family member. I had great fun playing with my cousin YiRu and following her around.

Celebrating Daddy's B-day

Today's daddy's 3x b-day. Mommy prepared a cake and a cute b-day card with our palm outlines. During a regular checkup this afternoon, Doc commented Kyra was growing in a good progress. She gained 1.1 lbs during the past week, now weighing a healthy 9.5 lbs already. I'm sure our being healthy and happy is the best gift to daddy :-)
